Nantucket Baskets

The Historic Nantucket Basket, first woven of cane in the mid-1800s, represents a proud tradition of American craftsmanship. This selection of handwoven, 14k gold basket pendants and earrings by American Scrimshaw is the most coveted collection of miniature baskets available today. Each basket is carefully handwoven, dated and signed in their Plymouth, Massachusetts workshop in the same manner as a full-sized basket. And in keeping with an old New England tradition, a miniature copper penny is included with each basket for good luck.
